Through a deep dance-music synergy, crafted in real time, “W” blurs the boundary between a concert and a dance performance. The music is composed and improvised live in sync with the dance, while the high-energy movement brings a physical intensity inspired by the body language of rock stars.

Two energies, of flesh and sound, question the audience’s role and engagement in a concert or show when facing an artist. What kind of connections are forged?

Taking this as a starting point, “W” explores and observes our contemporary relationships, which are now wireless, built merely on networks, vibrations, and waves.

How can we stay connected to the present? How do we relate to one another in a world that crackles and moves at a breakneck speed? Can a relationship exist without face-to-face, body-to-body contact?

On stage, the two protagonists strive relentlessly to find each other amidst a noisy chaos of connections, embodied by a heap of cables. In this universe, the desire is to shatter the silence in order to connect. The audible and the tangible become essential.

To reflect on the world through the relationships that take shape within it is to embrace the opportunity to be attentive to both its variations and diversity, as well as its unity and coherence.
