This piece brings together three protagonists: the dancing body, the in-situ landscape, and photography.

First stage: the performance…

Confronting dance with natural architecture (mountains, hills, plains…) is a poetic way to reconnect with our environment, to reflect on our relationship with nature, its resonance, and its impact on our movements, sensations, and listening.

Without trying to alter or reshape the landscape, I aim to adapt to what it offers through its power, hostility, curves, lines, contours, striking features, and subtle details. The performance is a duet between dancer and photographer, in which the audience also discovers the physical engagement and posture of the photographer at work.

Second stage: the photo exhibition…

The photographic medium appears in the project as the unifying character between body and landscape. Furthermore, the enduring nature of photography prompts us to question our capacity for contemplation. It allows visitors to view the shots taken during the performance, revealing a different perspective on what was initially observed.
