Duration: 1 hour

*Si c’est une fille* draws its inspiration from the experience of being born a girl and becoming a woman in our contemporary societies. Through a series of scenes, this play sensitively explores the question of the female body’s place in society, ultimately celebrating it.

It is an exploration of the body’s engagement, its reactions to current forms of domination, and its representations in various cultures. How can we embody the power of sensuality?

How can we celebrate the beauty of modesty and vulnerability? How can we come to terms with our physical condition?

Through movements that are both subtle and imbued with an earthy energy, the dancers embody various aspects of the female form, such as the mother, the goddess, and even the witch…

This production, where dance meets theater and song, expresses an unwavering desire to celebrate women and to highlight their power. An essential and inspiring manifesto.
