This piece brings together three protagonists: the dancing body, the on-site landscape, and photography.

First, the performance…

Confronting dance with natural architecture (mountains, hills, plains…) is a poetic way to reconnect with our environment; to reflect on our relationship with nature, its
resonance, and its impact on our movements, our sensations, and our listening.

Without seeking to alter or reshape the landscape, I aim to adapt to what it offers me through its power, its harshness, its curves, its lines, its contours, its imposing forms, and its subtle details. The performance is a dancer-photographer duet, in which the audience also witnesses the photographer’s postural work and physical engagement.

Next comes a photo exhibition…

In this project, photography serves as the unifying element between the body and the
landscape. Furthermore, the enduring nature of photography allows us to question our capacity
for contemplation and to revisit the images captured during the performance, discovering a new perspective on what we initially witnessed.
